Doug MacKinnon

Over 30 experience in Boxing and martial arts. Has competed in amateur boxing, Muay Thai and Ju jitsu. Became a personal trainer specializing in boxing, kickboxing and general fitness in 1998. Has trained everyone from special needs children to professional athletes. Helped develop and build some of the most successful kids boxing programs in South Florida. He has also trained numerous amateur boxers, and pro MMA fighters. In addition to his extensive athletic experience he has also worked with at risk youth in both schools and juvenile facilities in LA, Boston and Miami. His other hobbies include, playing drums in punk rock and hardcore bands, surfing, and collecting classic Chevy lowriders. He and his partner Erik Sandin opened Long Beach United Boxing Club in 2013 to help serve the community they both love. He runs the kids program and also teaches many of the adult boxing classes.

Jesse Anderson

With over 25 years of fitness and martial arts experience, Jesse Anderson has taken training and fitness to a whole new level. The fitness industry has been slowly changing. With the boredom of running on a treadmill, or going to an overcrowded gym and not seeing any results, it’s time for a change. “I have enjoyed training my whole life. I would spend most of my time hitting the heavy bag, sparring, running, doing pushup, sit-ups, bur-pees, and then go to the gym to lift weights. I realized that there had to be a better way. 11 Even though big clubs are still very much a huge attraction for those that are looking to get fit. The truth is that the novelty and motivation wears off after a couple of months. “I started training people the way I enjoy training myself using boxing, kickboxing, and/or MMA conditioning drills along with a specific weight regimes. And viola! A fun way to train, hit hard, get your frustrations out, sweat, and see noticeable results.

Holds a 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification. Kiira’s yoga journey began in 2010. As she began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life she felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others. Kiira believes the mind, body, soul connection is a sacred one, and one that should be nurtured and inspired. With that mentality she teaches her classes from her heart creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness.
